Stock comes from OVH's own /dedicated/server/datacenter/availabilities feed. It is keyed by plan code, not model name — KS-A in Singapore is 24ska012-sgp — so watches are resolved through the catalog on every poll.
unknown means OVH declined to answer and is never counted as stock.
VPS stock comes from a different endpoint — /vps/order/rule/datacenter, one call per plan — so a VPS watch polls only the plans somebody is actually watching. It reports Linux and Windows separately; the badge shows the better of the two.
coming soon is OVH announcing a machine it does not sell yet. It is never counted as stock, but it is watchable — a watch fires when it turns into real availability.
⚠️ The eco.ovhcloud.com/asia storefront’s “Soon available” badge is not a stock signal: it sits on 98 of 329 tiles, including machines that are buyable this minute. The API’s comingSoon state is a different thing and is reliable — it is per plan and per datacentre.
KS-B and KS-C are sold in USD across Asia but racked in Gravelines, so watch them in gra, not sgp. They are among the fastest-moving machines here — both flipped between in stock and sold out inside a minute on 13 Aug 2026.
